Serving Opportunities

As we study together, our goal is to become more like Christ, and we do not want to get “stuck” or too comfortable inside our walls. Let’s get outside of our comfy spots and “Go” as Jesus asked us to do. We hope service becomes second nature to all of us, yet we tend to be busy creatures. We encourage you to take time to serve or help others. Find two hours or more during the week to make a difference for someone. We will have some planned projects, but you are encouraged to look around your neighborhood and communities. What are the needs? Is there a widow, single mom or unhealthy neighbor who could use an extra set of hands? Your hands? Does the local park, church or fire department need your help for a couple hours? Pray with someone. Ask God to direct you. You’ll be amazed at the opportunities and what they do for you.
